These unique dive expeditions are designed to deliver the most spectacular diving palau has to offer.
We offer diving to all of the incredible dive sites around Palau. We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and do not have set diving days. Sam's tours diving is condition-dependent meaning that we assess various conditions to determine dive quality and safety. We will always do our best to accommodate our guests and provide a memorable and great experience. Please reach out to us for more dive site details.
We accept requests and will always do our best to accommodate. Upon arrival feel free to discuss with our staff about current weather conditions and expectations for the day. We offer full-day dive tours. Dive tours start at 8:30 AM.
IS UNIQUE DIVING FOR YOU?
Unique Dive Expeditions offer individually tailored trips for photographers and underwater enthusiasts. Unique Dive Expeditions are not for everyone. These Expeditions are only open to experienced divers (50+ dives) who are comfortable in the water; divers must be able to swim against strong currents and deploy their own surface marker buoy in case they separate from the group. Unique Productions Palau
Are you looking to film underwater in Palau? In need of dive advice, camera equipment, boats, or permits? Work with Sam’s!
From the BBC to small independent contractors, we have extensive experience with assisting production companies. For production teams, we will supply safety divers, rebreather divers, and internationally recognized camera crew. Working on internationally renowned productions is one of our specialties. We are happy to meet the demands of production companies on a tight timescale and with specific requirements.
Full Moon & New Moon Expeditions
Based on the monthly lunar cycles, our full moon expeditions offer a once-in-a-lifetime diving experience. During the Full and New Moon, different species of fish gather in huge aggregations to spawn. Numbers can vary from hundreds to thousands depending on the species. These mind-blowing spawning events attract Palau's largest predators as well. Dive with a small group (maximum 7 divers) to experience these exceptional dive events.
Technical Diving
Technical Diving in Palau is guaranteed to be an incredible and memorable experience. Technical diving at Sam's Tours is conducted by highly trained instructors. We also offer technical wreck diving, which allows for greater time on and inside the wrecks, exploring areas recreational divers cannot venture.
Considerations
We accommodate all levels of technical diving, including diving with twin sets, various sizes of decompression cylinders, and hang bars for your comfort during decompression stops. Oxygen, helium, booster pumps, and sofnolime are available upon request.
Kids Sea Camp
This annual event brings the whole family to the ocean. Kids Sea Camp is a two-time Emmy-winning educational camp that is fun for the whole family. This week-long event welcomes entire families to explore Palau's unique ocean life and reefs. Enjoy food and accommodations, daily activities, and scientific explorations.
Blackwater Diving
The team of Unique Dive Expeditions is the pioneer of Black Water dives in Palau, and what they've witnessed is remarkable.
Night diving is an entirely different scuba experience where you can witness the sea come to life with critter who only come out when it's dark. See the ocean in a new life with black water diving.
